I am from London, and recently decided to abandon the crowds and the rain in search of the sun and beaches of the Gold Coast. I started my fitness career at university where I completed a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and assisted with the strength and conditioning of the rugby teams.
Since graduating I have spent the past 3 years working in one of London’s top gyms, training everyone from athletes to gym new comers and rehab patients. Whilst looking to vary my own training I discovered Crossfit. I found that when coached properly Crossfit provided an effective means for increasing strength, fitness and overall athleticism all while providing a greatly unique training environment. There aren’t many other situations where strangers can cheer you on as you complete a set of burpees.
I now incorporate many of the principles in order to help my clients achieve their goals. I believe that there should be no limitations on what you feel your body is capable of. With a multi-modal and consistent action plan there is no reason that you can’t be athletic, move well and have fun whilst doing it.
