I am from the Tweed Coast and have grown up on our beaches living an active lifestyle. I started in the gyms when I was young and have over 14 years of experience in physical training. While working as a qualified electrician in my teens and early 20s I spent majority of my free time dabbling in different training styles and sports. It was then I came across CrossFit and left my career as an electrician to pursue my passion for functional training.
For the past 5 years have coached athletes and the every day person to achieve their personal goals through safe, effective and functional movement. My experience as a CrossFit coach provided me with the knowledge and skills to teach a variety of training styles including weightlifting, strength and conditioning and gymnastics. I believe that when we possess the ability to move our body we should treat that ability as a gift. The biggest issue is that so many of us just don't know how to move and poor movement leads to injury.
My goal is simple, to teach good quality movement through fun, effective training methods to develop all areas of your fitness. Whether you goal is to lose weight, increase strength, learn a new skill or improve your overall fitness, when you learn how to move well you will discover just what you are capable of.
